For efficient protection against the noise source, a sound enclosure or an enclosure including a sound absorber is often required. As a specialist for acoustic and thermal insulation, we can offer you the right solution for every individual requirement (sound, fire protection, temperature requirements) using self-adhesive flexible foams. We can supply you with rolls and sheets for your own fabrication as well as precise custom parts according to your specifications.
Railway vehicles & buses
Soundproofing and thermal insulation in rail vehicles and coaches. Effective sound absorbers on the car bodies lead to an efficient reduction of the occurring noise in the interior. Likewise, good thermal insulation minimizes heat losses. Products based on Basotect and polyester fleece are particularly suitable for this purpose and are available from us. Hydrophobic variants of these products repel condensation on the side walls and in the floor area. All Isofoam products for this area are tested according to the current fire standards such as EN 45545 or ECE R 118.
